Jasmin Walia may have left TOWIE but she's just as excited as us about original star Lauren Goodger returning next series!

When we caught up with Jasmin at the Jeans for Genes event in London, we had to ask what she thought about LG making a big comeback to the show that made her famous.

Answer? She's thrilled!

Jasmin told us: I feel like it's a long time coming! I felt like she should have come back two series' ago. She's a really nice girl. Before, a lot of people judged her on the show but I think this time round things will be different."

She also said Lauren's "looking well" at the minute. Lauren had her temporary lip fillers dissolved recently and has been hitting the gym and using her own workout DVD. Jasmin added: "I always think natural is better but I understand why people get surgery and fillers, she looks better without them though."

Lauren's certainly promised things will be different, vowing to have NO on-screen romance this time around and insisting she'll stay out of the drama and just bring positive vibes to the ITVBe show.

She announced her return during an appearance on Loose Women in August, saying: "I was meant to be in this series but couldn't because of personal reasons. I am doing the next series, yes. We will see how it goes. I've had a chat with the execs and they are so lovely, so nice. They said they missed me and would love me to come back.

"I said I would love to come in as Lauren so people can see who Lauren is. Nobody knows who I am. I've always been in drama or in a relationship on TV and now it's about me. I have no drama. I can go in and be one of the girls."

She was a show original before leaving in series six.

Jasmin, meanwhile, quit The Only Way Is Essex last year to pursue other projects. Her next big venture is starring as Princess Jasmine in the Aylesbury Waterside production of Aladdin this Christmas. Such a perfect role, right?!

She told us: "I'm so excited and I just feel amazing! If I had to play one character, being the obvious, it would be princess Jasmine! She's me and I know I'm going to have so much fun working with everyone."
