The former TOWIE couple dated for ten years before splitting in 2012. He's now happily married to actress Michelle Keegan, while Lauren is single after separating from on-off long-term love Jake McLean.
Despite both having moved on with their lives, they are quite frequently associated with one another and Lauren has had ENOUGH.
Writing in her new magazine column, she said: "Last week [it was claimed] that I'm back in touch with Mark's mum Carol Wright, and that she's been begging me to call him. Oh please!
"I haven't even got his number – and haven't had it for years. He wouldn't have mine because I've changed it so many times. I do wish people would stop writing such nonsense. Do the public actually believe this s**t? I hope not."
Lauren and Mark's romance ups and downs were a major part of the first three series of The Only Way Is Essex, before Mark left at the end of the third series. Lauren followed after the sixth series.
After their split in 2012, the childhood sweethearts both went on to find love elsewhere: Mark has been happily married to Our Girl actress Michelle Keegan since last year, after getting together at the end of 2012. Lauren, meanwhile, had a four year romance with Jake McLean, which ended earlier this year.
During an appearance on Loose Women in August, Lauren, 29, made it clear she did not want to be asked about Mark anymore, saying it was in her past and any stories about her being jealous of Michelle or wanting Mark back were just ridiculous
"Can I just please put that to bed. That ship sailed so long ago. I have no feelings whatsoever good or bad. I've moved on, he's moved on, he's happy, I'm happy. I understand why everyone brings it up all the time. because of TOWIE and we were together, I get that. But trust me, now there is no hate, no feelings, nothing bad. I'm so happy for him and I'm happy in my own life and that's all I have to say."
