The I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! co-stars and close friends have been travelling the Amalfi coast for a new mini-series airing weekly on ITV's This Morning.
On Monday's instalment (12 September), the topic of conversation was love… or lack of it, as both Vicky and Ferne spoke about the difficulties they face dating in the public eye and modern era.
Ferne lamented: "I think it's tough, not only because we're in the public eye, but it's hard with our generation to meet someone. Everything's so instant. It gets rid of that whole meeting someone organically.
"I just want to fall in love. I'm such an old romantic… I want to laugh with someone. I want my man to be my best friend."
Vicky agreed, suggesting everybody was "more obsessed" with their social media profiles than actually getting out there and meeting people like the good ol' days.
"These days people are more obsessed with Instagram likes than they are with actually getting a compliment off someone in a bar," she said. "I don't know whether being in the public eye has helped or hindered my love life, imagine how hard it is for a bloke to come into a bar and talk to me?"
She then joked: "Everyone thinks I'm some sort of drunken nutcase anyway!"
Aw, Vicks, no they don't!
"You shouldn't look for love, you shouldn't search for it, you should fall into it, so desperately and so unplanned," she added, "and that's what I'm waiting for I suppose."
Vicky's previous romances include Geordie Shore co-star Ricci Guarnaccio and CBB winner Stephen Bear, while she's also dated ex-TOWIE star Mario Falcone and MIC's Spencer Matthews.
Ferne's last serious relationship was with TOWIE co-star Charlie Sims. She's most recently been linked to Essex man Arthur Collins.
