Since reuniting on the fifth series of Ex On The Beach, both Gaz and Lillie have revealed that they are back on good terms. Rumours have been doing the rounds that the pair have been getting close, following Lillie's public split with ex Stephen Bear, but she and Gary have denied they are anything more than friends.
And in a new interview, Lillie has claimed that the pair "definitely aren't getting back together"... well, not just yet anyway.
Speaking to Daily Star, Lillie explained that she was left heartbroken by Gary, after he chose his career on Geordie Shore over her, but she has managed to get their friendship back on track.
She said: "Gary and I went through a lot. We were together two years and I thought he was the man I would marry... and then he chose Geordie Shore."
"It was heartbreaking," she admitted. "But we are on good terms again. I still love him as a friend."
Putting a stop to speculation she and Gaz could rekindle things, Lillie then said: "We definitely aren't getting back together at the moment."
Although she did add: "But I can't predict the future."
Gaz, meanwhile, recently revealed he is enjoying being friends again with his ex Lillie.
Taking to his online column for Daily Star, he wrote: "Liking that me and Lillie Lexie Gregg are on good terms. She's a great girl."
Fans of the ex-couple recently saw Gary and Lillie finally address their split on Ex On The Beach. Following Lillie's surprise arrival on the show, she and Gaz were sent out on a day out together. She asks him why they had broken up last year, and Gary finally explained his reasons for splitting with Lillie.
He told her: "That was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make in my whole life. The point where we were in our relationship or picking work, the only thing I'm f**king half good at in my life. And that's what I got used to. I just had to pick at the time what was best for me, as hard as that was, and it meant leaving you."
Gaz added that he was "sorry" for the way he has treated Lillie and thanked her for making him a better person. Getting emotional, Gary broke down in tears as he told Lillie how important she had been to him.
He said: "You made me realise there's more to life than what I was just doing. Lots of people have said, 'Oh, you hurt your ex so much' and I'm ashamed. I can never thank you enough for because you did make us grow up a lot."
Ex On The Beach continues Tuesday 13 September at 10pm on MTV.
