MIC fans were recently left shocked to hear Lucy has decided to leave the E4 reality show after four years. At the time, a rep for Lucy put her exit down to the reality star wanting to explore new projects, while her co-star Frankie Gaff claimed Lucy left because she is currently "loved-up" with James.
Now, Lucy has clarified her reasons for leaving via Twitter.
She tweeted: "My reasons for leaving were nothing to do with my relationship and those were someone else's words."
"Sometimes it's just time to move on."

Lucy's tweet comes after Frankie had said: "Lucy's not going to be in the next series. At the moment she's decided not to because she's loved up."
However, a rep for Lucy had addressed her decision to quit and said: "After four amazing years on Made in Chelsea, Lucy feels that now is the right time to explore some other exciting opportunities and projects that she is passionate about."
"Being part of such a successful show has been an incredible experience for her, and she wishes everyone involved all the very best for the future."
Lucy was a firm favourite on Made In Chelsea thanks to her no nonsense attitude and her sassy remarks (you can find our favourites here!), but fans missed her on the show's South of France spinoff series, as Lucy decided to stay behind in London.
She began dating James during series nine of Made In Chelsea last year, and since then, their relationship has gone from strength to strength.
