Gaz Beadle says he still isn't on friendly terms with his former Geordie Shore co-star Vicky Pattison.

We all know things haven't been too amicable between the former MTV co-stars since Vicky appeared on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year and Gaz suggested the audience wasn't seeing the true story.

Speaking to Bang Showbiz (via The Mirror), Gaz said: "Well that would be pretty awkward if I went on it and she was. We don't hate each other, but we just don't speak. We are not friends enough to know what each other is doing. I wish her all the best."

Gaz had said of Vicky while she was in I'm A Celebrity: "It's not Vicky. She's playing a very safe game. I've known her for a long time and she's the most argumentative person I've ever met in my life. At the minute she's playing it very safe and trying to get everyone to like her.

"The Vicky I know would have mixed it up, put Lady C with Duncan, but she's playing a safe game. The only person in there who could have a good argument with Lady C would be Vicky. I know that. I'm waiting for that to happen."

When Vicky heard what Gaz had said, she retaliated: "Hate, jealousy and bitterness from a very sad little man. I know exactly why he did it – because he went for I'm A Celebrity! as well and the producers thought he was a t*t! A one-trick pony who had nothing to offer but shagging lasses and lo and behold, ITV didn't want you, you skinny moron."

Speaking to MTV, earlier this year, Gaz claimed he had no idea he'd said something wrong and was still supporting Vicky right up until she won.

"In the final, I was still tweeting, Snapchatting, telling people to vote for Vicky. I didn't realise what I'd done was that wrong," he said. "Then Vicky came out, blocked us on Twitter and messaged us saying 'never talk to us again'. I was like 'happily!'"

He added: "I knew she was biting her tongue in there, I knew she was being well-behaved, I knew she was being a people-pleaser. That is literally all I said and it's probably what a lot of people were thinking. It wasn't a bad thing!"
