The smitten ex-TOWIE star couldn't resist uploading a photo to Instagram showing Michelle at the Our Girl screening in Manchester.
Mark wrote: "Seriously though.... Look at this woman from tonight.... No words.... Can't tell you how proud I am of what she has achieved. OUR GIRL.... this Wednesday at 9pm on BBC. The first episode is sensational. Enjoy."
Michelle, 29, plays army medic Corporal Georgie Lane in the second series of the drama, taking over the lead role from Lacey Turner, whose character Molly will be referenced in the first episode.
The former Coronation Street star spent months in South Africa earlier this year filming the series, which is also based in Manchester.
All that time apart from Mark, however, led to the inevitable 'romance on the rocks' rumours, which both Mark, 29, and Michelle have VEHEMENTLY denied.
Just this week Michelle pointed out she hadn't been wearing her wedding ring in South Africa because it would have looked out of place when her character, Georgie, is not married and in the middle of a war.
Michelle told The Sunday Mirror: "We're happy. Just because we didn't tell the world the ins and outs of what we were doing while I was away [filming army drama Our Girl in South Africa], there was backlash."
She added: "We should celebrate the fact that, yeah, I did get married, but I can work as well. Mark came out to South Africa when he could. We'd talk all the time on the phone and Facetime. We're happy."
Catch Michelle in Our Girl, starting Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
