The couple have been plagued with split rumours over the last few months, and more than a few articles advising Mark to "look away now!" when photos of Michelle kissing co-stars during filming on set surface.
Speaking to Daily Star Sunday, former Coronation Street star Michelle said: "I've been with Mark for four years now so he's seen me kiss a lot of men on screen. He knows it's a job and that it's in the script."
However, the 29-year-old admitted it is still a bit awkward for her!
Referring to a steamy scene with Our Girl co-star Luke Pasqualino, she confessed: "It is a little bit awkward for me watching the scene back. But I'd feel a lot more awkward if I was watching it with my dad. I'd be cringing!"
Michelle stars in the second series of army drama Our Girl, which starts this Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One. She plays army medic Corporal Georgie Lane, who is posted to Kenya on a dangerous mission.
She's also just wrapped filming on the new three-part ITV drama Tina and Bobby, which documents the relationship between England footballing hero Bobby Moore and his wife Tina.
Meanwhile, Michelle has been assuring everyone this week that her marriage to Mark is A-OK despite the constant rumours of trouble. She pointed out to The Sunday Mirror: "We're happy. Just because we didn't tell the world the ins and outs of what we were doing while I was away [filming army drama Our Girl in South Africa], there was backlash."
She added: "We should celebrate the fact that, yeah, I did get married, but I can work as well. Mark came out to South Africa when he could. We'd talk all the time on the phone and Facetime. We're happy."
