Phew, that's lucky! Lauren Goodger has NOT been scammed by some randomer posing as a TV License agent.

The former TOWIE star sparked concern she'd been targeted by a scam artist when she tweeted this week: "Man just knocked at my door for TV licence? I paid there and then is this correct? But I do actually have one? Does this happen normally?"

Well, plenty of followers quickly replied to express concerns Lauren had been conned, including her TOWIE colleague Vas J Morgan who told her: "Nooooooo lol that's not normal LG."

Other comments include "you've just been mugged", "never pay at the door" and "deffo been conned."

But THANKFULLY that wasn't true!

After the TV Licensing company saw Lauren's tweets and offered to investigate, it was discovered the man who knocked at her door was indeed legitimate.

Lauren updated everyone by tweeting: "Ok so the Man who came to my door was a legit Tv license man! Thank you @tvlicensing for sorting and finding out for me! No scam done thanku (sic)."

Phew! Crisis averted!
