Cast your minds back to the first series of Love Island and Jon shocked us all when he decided to pop the question to then girlfriend Hannah. They had been coupled up from the get go and after falling for each other, Jon decided to ask Hannah's dad for his permission to marry her, before proposing during the villa's commitment task.
Hannah happily accepted his proposal, but just months after Love Island wrapped, the pair split and now Jon has said he "wasted a proposal."
Speaking to new! magazine, Jon opened up about Hannah when asked if he thought he would only ever propose once in his life. He replied: "I'm pissed off I wasted that proposal on her, but she's a lovely girl and I wish her all the best."
Hannah and Jon confirmed their split in October last year. After their romance hit a rocky patch, the pair had headed on a make or break holiday to try and make their relationship work. In the end, Hannah and Jon went their separate ways, with Hannah telling Reveal at the time that she was "heartbroken" over their break up.
Jon, meanwhile, said he was "gutted" things didn't work out between them. He had said back in November: "I'm gutted that we broke up and I'm still gutted about the whole situation, but she seems to be moving on now. She's happy and I'm trying to make myself happy as well."
Since then, Jon has been linked to Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry, but is thought to be single.
Hannah, meanwhile, is currently loved-up with boyfriend George Andreetti. The pair first went public with their relationship in April and Hannah has since told fans that George is her "proper one."
She is always sharing smitten selfies with her beau and has gushed: "Special things work out for a reason."
At the beginning of August, Hannah revealed she and George have now moved to Spain together to start a "new chapter."
