At the start of her interview, Eamonn Holmes said: "There are accusations in the papers today that Bear has been warned a number of times but the warnings have not been screened. There's a theory going around there's a bit of a conspiracy to have Bear win this."
But Katie would only say: "Obviously, I've just come out so I don't really know what's going on in the papers and whatnot."
The former X Factor finalist did add: "[Bear's] a cheeky chappy. All of us will say there are great sides to him then really not so great sides to him. We actually got on quite well. I was just like, at least he's owning it and it is what it says on the tin. We never really got into any arguments."
The allegations about Bear surfaced after Sam Fox revealed in her eviction interview on Tuesday night (23 August) that she'd needed medical attention after Bear pulled a prank on her that involved splashing water in her face.
A rep for Channel 5 confirmed to us that Sam received treatment and was given the all-clear, adding the scenes will not be aired.
Meanwhile, Katie told Eamonn and Ruth that she's had no sleep since being evicted, as she spent all night on FaceTime to husband Brian, who is back home in Atlanta, USA.
"He's actually coming over here on Friday," said Katie. "I'm really excited! We were up all night on FaceTime. He's seen [the whole show] and said it was crazy and he couldn't believe it."
Katie added Brian was the one who encouraged her to sign up for the show: "He really wanted me to do it. It was him who said, 'It's your time to shine'."
