Stephanie Davis has confirmed she's landed a role as guest Loose Women panellist.

The pregnant ex-Hollyoaks actress revealed on Wednesday (24 August) that she'll be joining the Loose Women panel on Friday, marking her first time as a panellist.

A thrilled Steph tweeted: "FINALLY I'm so happy to announce that I'm going to be a Panellist on @loosewomen this Friday. Really excited so make sure to tune in."

Steph was first linked to Loose Women earlier this month, when a source revealed the star had been signed up for a guest role which had the possibility to become more permanent if viewers liked her. Other guest panellists who have gone on to become regulars include Vicky Pattison and Katie Price.

No doubt she'll be giving viewers an update on her pregnancy after recently announcing she's expecting a baby boy.

Stephanie, 23, is expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, 26, whom she met in Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. They had a rocky romance before splitting for good in May. She announced her pregnancy shortly after.

Model Jeremy initially told an Irish magazine he didn't think he could be the father, as Steph had told him she'd had her period since their split.

Stephanie has always vehemently insisted Jeremy IS the dad.

Jeremy later issued a statement to Loose Women, during Steph's last visit to the show, saying: "Me and Steph broke up after numerous arguments and fights over insecurities and work schedules. In the month after we split, I saw videos online of her in bed with other guys which is why I said I would do a test to prove I am the dad.

"Having the baby won't fix what me and Steph had already tried to fix so many times. A pre-test on a baby can be fatal. That is the reason I wouldn't want to do a paternity test until the baby is born."

Stephanie said she had found Jeremy's response "predictable", but thanked the show for getting an answer from him. "It's nice that he is actually acknowledging that there is a baby there now. I can't believe you've got an answer out of him, Me and my family have been trying for weeks. If he wants to run away from it, that's fine."
