Zara had been on the panel show to discuss Miss GB's decision to take away her title, after she'd had sex on TV while appearing on Love Island's second series. Her interview divided viewers, as some suggested she had been grilled "too heavily" by the panellists, while others claimed Zara had broken the rules and should accept the consequences for her actions.
There were also those that criticised Loose Women for grilling Zara, as they pointed out Vicky is a panellist and she has previously had sex on TV.
One user said: "How loose women can have a go at Zara Holland for having sex on tv when Vicky Pattinson did that on Geordie Shore for years." Another wrote: "Very judgemental towards Zara. Are they forgetting current LW panellist Vicky Pattinson's start in TV?! And she's lovely! #LooseWomen."
Others responded, suggesting Vicky's stance was different as she hadn't had the responsibilities that came with Zara's Miss GB crown. One user said: "Y @VickyPattison get compared to @zaraholland11?Zara was aware of her job guidelines @Official_MissGB.Vicky was never that title?@loosewomen (sic)."
As the debate unfolded on the social media site, Vicky had her say.
She tweeted: "I'd just like to set the record straight on all the negative tweets I'm receiving about @zaraholland11 appearance on @loosewomen today... I wasn't on the panel & therefore didn't get my say on the matter and as @loosewomen we don't all have the same opinions #leavemeoutofit."
Speaking about her title loss, Zara said: "It was the most devastating moment of my life. It was terrible and I couldn't believe it. I worked so hard to be Miss Great Britain and it meant the absolute world to me. To have something stripped away from you that meant the world…"
She was then pressed by the panel, who questioned why Zara would choose to sleep with Alex Bowen on camera, given her commitment to Miss GB. Zara responded: "I was in the hideaway, it's very private, it wasn't in front of everybody. It was in the moment and it happened.
If someone said to me, 'Do you agree with sex on TV?' No I don't but right now I know I had that title and if I'm totally honest I have been the hardest working Miss Great Britain they've ever had and ever will have."
Viewers also saw Zara clash with Miss GB's runner-up Deone Robertson, who has now been given Zara's title for the 2015/2016 pageant.
Following the interview airing, Zara tweeted: "No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes! You live and you learn. Thank you for all your amazing comments and support, means everything."
