Billie Faiers has spoken about Ferne McCann's new nose, admitting that she initially warned her best friend not to go under the knife.

However, now the former TOWIE star has had the surgery, Billie thinks Ferne "looks amazing" and has found a new confidence within herself.

Appearing on ITV1's This Morning, which often sees Ferne presenting showbiz roundups, Billie was asked for her thoughts on her pal's nose job.

She told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford: "When she first told me, I was probably the same as everyone. [I told her]: 'Don't do it, you're so beautiful, it's you and your character'.

"But now she's had it done, she looks amazing. It hasn't changed her face and I kind of feel like she's got this newfound confidence."

Last night, Billie bowed out of TOWIE with her daughter Nelly after five years on the ITVBe reality series.

Phoning into the This Morning studio via Skype, Ferne - who is still recovering from her surgery - was quick to offer her bestie some good luck wishes.

The star, who quit TOWIE herself last year, said: "I know we speak every day, Bill, but I wanted to send you a good luck message. I'm really proud of you and kind of feel like life begins after TOWIE.

"Hurry up and get married now so I can be a bridesmaid. And have more babies!"

Like Ferne and her own sister Sam, who left TOWIE in 2014, Billie is hopeful that more opportunities will now come her way...including her own reality TV series with fiancé Greg Shepherd and their daughter Nelly.

She explained: "There's always talks and ideas, it would he amazing to do something else. I don't want to fizzle out and not do anything.

"[My own reality series] would be amazing, but I don't know how Greg would feel about it!"

Billie added: "It is a massive risk to leave the show but, I feel for me, unless I do it now and leave on a high, I'll just end up fizzling out. It's the end of an era and I feel like I need to move on."
