Ore is currently abroad working at the Rio 2016 Olympics but he is set to swap his microphone for ballroom shoes this autumn.
Announcing the news on Twitter, the Strictly team joked: "We hope @OreOduba has been practicing his #Strictly Samba moves in #Rio2016!"
Ore has since said: "It'll be such a challenge to learn a brand new dance and perform it live in front of millions on Saturday nights. I'm really looking forward to being thrown well out of my comfort zone."
He added: "I'm more competitive with myself than anyone else… always strive for perfection, even if it's completely unrealistic."
Yesterday (10 August), it was announced that former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here Now! presenter Laura Whitmore will be appearing on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
Former Pop Idol winner Will Young is also joining the lineup, along with politician Ed Balls.
More names will be announced in the coming days!
