Ex On The Beach star Jordan Davies has admitted it 'would have been nice' to get closure from ex-fiancée Megan McKenna on the show.

Ex On The Beach is set to return to our screens next week (16 August) and this time round, Jordan is back for his third series on the trot. It had been rumoured that his ex Megan could be joining him once more in the villa, but, given that she's now moved on with TOWIE star Pete Wicks, Megs was a no show.

If she had, however, surprised Jordan by coming out of the sea as his ex on the series, he insists he 'wouldn't have been bothered', but he did admit exclusively to Reveal he would have liked to get some closure from their failed relationship.

We caught up with Jordan recently and he told us: "I pretty much knew [Megan] wasn't going to come out of the sea, but even if she had, it wouldn't have bothered me."

"It would have been nice to have spoken to her about everything and why she did what she did," he revealed. "But I wouldn't have been bothered."

Despite Jordan proposing to Megan on the last series of the show, their romance didn't work out and they confirmed their split in December last year. At the time, Megan and Jordan assured fans they had broken up amicably, but it later became clear that wasn't the case.

Jordan accused Megan of 'going behind his back' to apply for Celebrity Big Brother and blamed her appearance on the Channel 5 reality show for their split. Megan, however, insisted that was not the case and she claimed she ended things because Jordan had 'broke her trust.'

Now, she has clearly moved on and Jordan is enjoying himself as a singleton again.

Telling us why he couldn't resist heading back onto Ex On The Beach for the third time, he said: "My main reason for going back was to show people, after everything that happened with [Megan], I am happy and I'm back single. The single Jordan that they used to know, the cheeky happy chappy, he's back.

"I sort of lost my place when I was with you know who. I changed a lot for her. But everyone can see now that I'm back and just enjoying myself. You're going to see more of the fun loving Jordan who's not just constantly looking out for Megan… he's only looking out for himself now."

You may think that it seems strange to head back to the place where you once proposed, but Jordan insists it didn't bring back any tough memories for him while doing the show.

He said the difference in cast (he joins the likes of returning stars Gaz Beadle, Stephen Bear, Liam Lewis, Jess Impiazzi and Jem Lucy on this series) had helped him forget Megan, and he became more concerned over a different ex of his instead.

"The ex that I was more worried about was a girl called Rosie Williams," he explained. "I was with her for two years and she was like my first love."

Jordan continued: "They all convinced me that she was coming out of the sea, if she'd have actually got with somebody, I would have gone mad. I probably would have ended up killing somebody in there. They got her name out of nowhere, every time I went to the beach, I was like, 'Sh*t. She is coming.' Bear and Gaz were winding me up, it was horrible.

"It gets worse every time [going to the beach]. You think, 'I know what to expect now, it's going to be easy for me.' But, nah it doesn't. It gets worse every single time."

Anyone else now majorly intrigued?!
