While appearing on ITV2's dating show, Kady had divided fans at times. Her meltdown over Scott and Tina Stinnes' date led to some criticising her for her behaviour (Kady had called Tina a 'c***' and vented her frustration while stuck in the hideaway with Olivia Buckland) and throughout the show, some viewers had been sceptical over Kady's intentions with Scott.
She was accused of 'mugging him off', but it's clear to see she and Scott are very much loved-up and their relationship (albeit up and down onscreen) is genuine.
We caught up with the couple recently and Kady told us she isn't phased by the negative comments she has been subject to online.
She said: "It doesn't bother me. I'm really think-skinned when it comes to stuff like that - everyone is going to have an opinion, hence why every reality star not everyone loves or hates. We live it, you only see what they want you to see."
"No one understands apart from us islanders how intense it is, I could tell you, but you wouldn't understand. A day is a week," she explained. "You feel every emotion in there, one minute you're sad then you can be happy to angry within five minutes."
Recalling *that* meltdown of hers on the show, Kady revealed she has watched herself back and she doesn't regret acting in the way she did.
"People say do you regret it? I say no. That is what I'm like, I am a drama queen," she said. "I am a bit mental, but it comes from a good place. I show my emotions and I don't bottle it in."
Now they are out of the villa and back in the real world, Kady and Scott agreed that the response they have had on social media so far has been positive.
Scott revealed: "To be honest, we've had more positives than negatives." Kady added: "Everything you do, everyone does notice but as a couple, I can't believe how much we are loved."
Reflecting on their time together on Love Island, Kady said it had been a "rollercoaster" for her. She told us: "It was the best experience of my life… it was stressful, but believe it or not there were actually more good things than bad things."
"I think we all went in there with a perception [of the show] and it's not [like that], it was a blessing in disguise really," he added. "I thought I was going to be partying and be a bit of boy in there, but I've come out with a girlfriend. It's crazy. It's been amazing."
Scott and Kady finished in third place on the show. Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen came in second place, while Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde were crowned Love Island's winners.
