In last night's episode of the show (2 August), Bear told Lewis that his in-house romance with Marnie wouldn't stop him locking lips with her, hypothetically, if that's what he wanted to do.
Lewis had been joking about the relationships that are forming in the house. He commented on Bear and Mobwives star Renee Graziano developing a close connection and joked with his housemate: "I've missed you tonight... At least we've both pulled. You've got your missus and I've got my missus."
Lewis has struck up a romance with Geordie Shore's Marnie, but suggesting their relationship isn't so solid, Bear hit back: "I ain't got no missus in here. I could kiss [Marnie] if I want."
Fans have already seen Marnie and Bear briefly kiss as part of a house task, although it wasn't on a romantic level and was part of their reality sketch with Lewis. Lewis told Bear that "he wasn't on stage" anymore, and explaining his comment, Bear added: "Not in a bad way. I'm just saying there's no pigeon holes in here.
"If I want to kiss you, I'll kiss you," he told Marnie. "If I want to kiss someone else, I'll kiss them. I'm not being a d**khead, but I can do what I want. That's it."
Lewis responded: "But Bear, I like Marnie..." And Bear told him: "I don't give a f**k. It's nothing personal... it's me. There's no dibs in here mate... I'll do what I f**king want."
Bear then headed into the Diary Room and vented his frustration at his housemates telling him what to do.
He said: "Don't tell me what to do. If I want to kiss Marnie, I'll kiss Marnie. If I want to do that, I'll do that... That's me. After four days you've got a girlfriend, are you f**king sure? Lewis really likes Marnie, really likes her... Does Marnie like Lewis? No."
Lewis, meanwhile, told his housemates: "I've stood there and said I love that boy for how ruthless he really is... I've sat here with Marnie and he's basically said that if he wants to kiss her, he could. I'd like to see him try."
Marnie warned the group: "None of you know that boy, he's ruthless and he does turn on people. He's got a lovely side to him, don't get us wrong, but he has got a bad side to him. I've seen it."
The boys did, however, appear to clear the air. Lewis pulled Bear aside and said: "You're you and all I've said is, 'I love him, he's pure, real,' but I'm trying to graft her mate, give us a chance?"
Trying to explain what he had meant by his comments, Bear told Lewis: "I'm saying if I want to kiss that person, I would - not saying that I would do it. I'm not saying I would try to, but if I want to do something I will do it because no one has a boyfriend or girlfriend in here."
Lewis then said he would speak about it in the morning with Bear, while Bear insisted: "There is no dramas here..."
