Rumour has it that the former X Factor judge could be swapping her microphone for her dancing shoes and heading to the ballroom... Now we would LOVE to see that happen!
According to Daily Star an insider has said: "Getting Cheryl would be amazing for Strictly. They want to make sure they keep thrashing X Factor in the ratings."
"If they got Cheryl to take part all of her fans would stop watching X Factor and start tuning in to Strictly," they claimed. "Giving them an even bigger lead when it comes to viewing figures."
We bet her old boss and good pal Simon Cowell wouldn't be too pleased to hear that...
While we're not sure Chezza would sign up for one of X Factor's rival shows, we do know that she loves to dance. She was a trained dancer in ballet, ballroom and tap when she was little and fans have seen her showcasing her moves in her music videos.
Remember when she taught herself to street dance for will.i.am's 'Heartbreaker' video?!
So, it wouldn't be so unlikely for her to have an interest in Strictly, but will she really sign up? Strictly is set to return in the coming months, so we guess we'll have to wait and see.
Cheryl has kept a relatively low profile this year, after wrapping The X Factor in December. She has since announced that she has left the show and would not be returning for its thirteenth series.
Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw have also left The X Factor, meaning this time round Simon has been joined by returning judges Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne.
Announcing her exit in April, Cheryl told fans that she was focusing on her music instead. She said: I have had such an amazing experience being a judge on The X Factor. I have learnt so much and enjoyed nurturing talent but I've missed making music and am excited to be recording again. I want to thank everybody I have worked with along the way, especially Simon who I love to bits"
Cheryl is now dating One Direction star Liam Payne.
