Geordie Shore star Scotty T has hit back at reports claiming he is 'not allowed back for Geordie Shore's next series' unless he curbs his partying ways.

It was reported that Scott had been warned about his partying and had been advised to become 'more sensible' if he wants to keep his place on the MTV reality show. However, Scott, who has starred on Geordie Shore since its fourth series, took to Twitter to laugh off the rumours.

When fans questioned reports of the warning, Scott assured them them they were not true.

A source had told The Sun: "It may sound a bit ridiculous that the bosses of Geordie Shore are telling one of their biggest stars to stop partying and become more sensible, but that is what has happened.

"It has got to the point where they feel they can't rely on him to do his job and they have warned him that if he doesn't calm down and become more reliable, he won't be allowed back for the next series."

Scott responded to the claims, when one fan tweeted: "Can't believe @ScottGShore been told he needs to calm down on partying or he will get kicked [off] Geordie Shore. What a bloody joke."

He replied: "It's not true though... Lol that's the funny thing."

Scott also re-tweeted another fan that commented: "Thought the whole reason of Geordie Shore was to go out partying. @ScottGShore is a boss I'd stop watching it without him."

Scott recently wrapped filming for the thirteenth series of the show, where the cast jetted abroad to film in different party resorts - including Ayia Napa, Kavos, Magaluf and Ibiza.

It was the first series the gang filmed without Charlotte Crosby, following her exit at the start of June. They were instead joined by Sophie Kasaei, a former star of the show and Marnie Simpson's cousin, who is thought to be replacing Charlotte.

Kyle Christie also made a return. He confirmed he had been filming out in Ayia Napa, after surprising his co-stars.

Fans will also see Chantelle Connelly quit next series. She announced her exit from Geordie Shore mid-filming, and later revealed she had left on "bad terms" with Marty McKenna, Chloe Ferry and Gaz Beadle.

Chantelle had joined the cast in series 12.
