Oops! TOWIE stars Megan McKenna and Danielle Armstrong had a bit of a mishap while filming today (28 July), thanks to that pesky wind down by the coast...

The girls joined their co-star boyfriends Pete Wicks and James Lock to film for the ITVBe show on location at Southend-on-Sea, but their usual Essex glam took a battering from the breeze by the beach.

Think upturned umbrellas and hair going everywhere. We've all been there, right?

There's nothing more annoying that your umbrella flipping upside down while you're trying to shield yourself from the rain, but luckily Megs and Danni saw the funny side when their blow dries took a hit.

Capturing the whole thing for our amusement too, the girls shared videos to Instagram and we couldn't help but feel their pair. The struggle is real.

Megan captioned her video post: "The glam life of filming towie." And added a slew of crying with laughter emojis.

One fan commented on her clip: "I can't stop watching this !!!! @daniellearmstrong88 looks like a little old lady with her brolly." Another said: "Hilarious made me literally lol."

Fans will be pleased to see Megan in high spirits, as she's had a rough ride on TOWIE recently.

While away in Palma, Megan was forced to confront Chloe Lewis' rumours she had been 'dirty grinding' on another man - not Pete - at a Marbella pool party, and back in Essex Mike claimed he had been told Megan was flirting with a group of boys while there.

Megan insisted that was not the case and was fully supported by boyfriend Pete. So much so, that the couple have claimed they are "stronger than ever."

Megan exclusively told Reveal recently: "Me and Pete are happy. All of these hurdles have made us stronger than ever and Majorca sealed the deal for me. It made me realise he's a keeper."

Pete was quick to jump to Megan's defence when he heard Mike had called her a "sl*g" in a heated exchange. Following on from their row over Mike claiming he wouldn't want his girlfriend to act in the way Megan supposedly has done, Pete ended his friendship with his co-star and told Mike he owed Megan an apology.

Megan has also had to deal with drama when it comes to her girlband besties. She was left upset after seeing a photo of Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green on a girls' night with Chloe and Lydia Bright.

Megs had previously clashed with Chloe and Lydia in Majorca, and broke down in tears at the picture. She told Danni and Georgia Kousoulou that she felt like the girls hadn't had her back.

They, however, have said being friendly with Chloe and Lydia could be a good thing for Megan. Courtney said: "Maybe we can change their mind to like, start getting in the idea of just being civil with Megan. Life's too short to hate everyone."

TOWIE continues Sunday 31 July at 10pm on ITVBe.
