After Emma revealed on Twitter that Tel had popped the question, "Will you be my girlfriend?", the couple were inundated with congratulatory messages from co-stars.
Olivia Buckland, Scott Thomas, Katie Salmon and Rachel Fenton all took to Twitter to share their excitement at the big news!
When one Twitter user questioned how Olivia could be happy for Emma and Terry given that she's friends with Malin Andersson, Emma simply replied: "Olivia is allowed to be happy for me and Tel as well as being friends with @MalinSaraMakeup."
Emma and Tel going official came after he finally met her parents, telling Twitter followers: "Just met @emmajwoodhams parents... 1 black eye 3 teeth down we're all good! Na bants rele nice and welcoming. (sic)"
He'd previously promised he'd ask Emma to be his girlfriend once he met the family and got their approval. So it was no surprise later that night when Emma revealed he'd done just that!
She tweeted: "So! Last night over a cheese plater and wine at the CUTEST restaurant @terrywalsh88, true to his word... asked me to be his gf!" I said nahh but it was a nice thought... Bants!! Of course i said yes... It's official guys."
Emma and Terry met on Love Island's second series, which raised many eyebrows as he'd been official with Malin at the time. Malin was eliminated and left thinking Tel was her boyfriend, but then watched as he cracked on with Emma. She then returned to confront him, with Terry saying he'd never promised her anything and the fact was he preferred Emma.
All parties seem to be moving on now after Malin got her apology at the wrap party when Terry told her: "I am sorry for hurting you. I never wanted to hurt you like that. I just hope we can be friends because I still think you're a good person."
