The men have clashed in recent episodes after Mike waded into rumours about Pete's girlfriend Megan, revealing he'd heard she was being flirtatious with men on a recent girls' holiday.
Megan denied that and confronted Mike, alongside Pete. Then off-camera, they got into a row again which resulted in Mike calling Megan a "goer", which Pete heard.
After encouragement from the group, Pete and Mike did come face to face again on Wednesday night (27 July), but they didn't really clear the air. While Pete was happy to hear Mike would be apologising to Megan, he said after Mike called Megan "a slag" they could hardly be friends again.
Mike has constantly said he only waded into the debate because he wanted Pete to know what was being said, as if it was his girlfriend, he'd want others to tell him.
But speaking to the TOWIE official website, Pete described Mike's actions as "dog moves" and said their friendship was effectively over.
"I don't think Mike really understands what I have the hump about," said Pete. "I don't know whether that tiny little brain can comprehend what loyalty is. One day when he realises that there's more important things in life than selfies he might realise dog moves like that really don't go down well."
Pete went on to say he'll probably never see eye to eye with Mike again, saying: "I'll never forget the way he's gone about this or what he's said to her. As far as I'm concerned, it's Mike who?"
But Pete did say he appreciates Mike's plan to say sorry to Megan, as that was all he wanted in the first place. "It's the right thing for him to do because talking to any bird like that isn't the right way to do things. So I'm pleased in some respects he will apologise because I think she deserves it. That doesn't change my opinion of him and whether or not she accepts that is down to Megan."
TOWIE continues Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
