The reality couple found themselves faced with split rumours this week after a cryptic exchange on Twitter worried fans. Sophie tweeted about 'swiftly unfollowing' someone and Tom responding by retweeting her comment, saying he was "livid" about getting "agg" as he'd done nothing wrong.
But former Miss Great Britain Sophie, 30, was quick to assure fans all was well between her and fitness trainer Tom, 24, and they both proved that in pictures with plenty of smitten Snapchats on Monday (25 July).
As well as a spot of shopping in Newcastle, the couple cosied up in front of the TV and Tom shared a cheeky video of an underwear clad Sophie desperately trying to hide from the cameras!
They've not had the easiest of times since meeting on Love Island's second series, but have managed to push through and build a relationship outside the villa.
After making it official on the show, their romance hit the rocks in front of viewers, not helped by the arrival of Tom's ex-girlfriend Emma-Jane Woodhams. They briefly split before reuniting, but Tom was then eliminated in a shock twist, leaving Sophie alone in the villa.
While he watched from home, she recoupled with newcomer Katie Salmon and they shared a kiss, before Sophie put the brakes on their coupling and quit the show to be with Tom.
Viewers saw the moment they came face to face again during the Heading Home episode, where Tom admitted he'd been hurt by some of what Sophie had said on TV, including her alluding to feeling free without him and calling Katie an "angel" sent to her at the right time.
Sophie, however, insisted she'd meant that in a friendly way and has maintained her coupling with Katie was just a game strategy to win the show, not real feelings. Katie, meanwhile, has denied this and said it was real on her part.
Since then, they've been giving their romance another go, agreeing they needed to get to know each other outside the villa. "Every thing for now is perfect and I'm absolutely head over heels with Tom Powell," said Sophie.
