According to The Sun, viewers will be shortly introduced to Megan McKenna's parents, Dave and Tanya, and her sister Milly, as they've been lined up to film scenes for the ITVBe show.
A source said Megan's popularity since she joined during series 17 has led producers to want even more McKennas on screen! Well, the more the merrier, right?!
"ITVBe bosses hope the McKennas will be as popular as the Wright family were," added the insider.
The Wrights – Mark, Jessica, Carol, Big Mark and Nanny Pat - had been the dominant family of the series since day one, but Mark and Jess have since left the show.
Former Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother star Megan, 23, joined TOWIE in February and has become one of the show's most recognisable faces, partly due to her fiery temper and also her steamy romance with co-star Pete Wicks.
Co-stars such as Danielle Armstrong and Kate Wright have applauded Megan's addition to the TOWIE cast, with Kate saying recently: "Megan brought loads of drama when she joined the cast and I know the viewers have loved having her on the show."
She's been the main talking point of series 18 already, stealing all the headlines and limelight thanks to rows with Chloe Lewis, Lydia Bright and Mike Hassini. The former had claimed Megan was "grinding" against a man – not Pete – in Marbs, while the latter alleged his pals said she'd been flirting with men on holiday.
Megan vehemently denied it all, backed by Pete, who told her he trusted her 100 per cent and nothing would come between them. They've both said, if anything, the allegations have made them stronger as a couple.
Bring on more McKennas, we say!
TOWIE continues Wednesday at 10pm on ITVBe.
