Megan McKenna has revealed she's going to have anger management classes in a bid to curb her temper during arguments.

The TOWIE star has earned the nickname Mental Megan following outbursts on screen but says she now wants to learn how to keep her emotions in check when she's annoyed.

Megan told Daily Star Sunday: "I'm going to have anger management classes. I've had meetings about it so just need to do it. I definitely need some sort of coping mechanism. I will be getting help because I can't do it on my own."

TOWIE Series 18, Episode 3: Megan and Pete confront Mike
24 July 2016

The 23-year-old's fiery temper had been unleashed on two series of MTV's Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother before she joined The Only Way Is Essex in February.

After CBB, she'd also said she would look into anger management classes.

"When I feel like I'm being mugged off or someone is trying to hurt my feelings I get angry and I can't help it. I am looking into getting anger management. I'll be speaking to people about that now I'm out of the house," she told Daily Star.

"I do flip out in certain situations but I think I flip out for the right reasons. I can't help it, that is me. I stand by my word. What I said was true."

Viewers saw her lose her temper on Sunday night's (24 July) episode again, when she and boyfriend Pete Wicks confronted Mike Hassini, who had been telling people Megan was flirtatious with boys during a girls' holiday to Marbella.

Megan had denied that and broken down in tears when in private with Pete, saying she was fed up with people t trying to drag her down and accusing her of doing things wrong when she was innocent.

Pete later told the boys: "Megan's raging about it and upset. She deals with things by losing her nut, which I don't necessarily agree with. Chances are she'd tear him a new one."

The couple confronted Mike towards the end of the episode, when they all attended the same party in Essex. It got VERY explosive and heated, with Megan demanding to know from Mike what she'd done wrong, and telling him she thought he was her friend.

You actually make me sick. I thought you were my friend and Pete's friend. This whole flirtation thing is absolutely ridiculous… Why don't you worry about your f**king image with your fake toupee and your f**king pedal pushers?"

TOWIE continues Wednesday at 10pm on ITVBe.
