Reports had claimed that Charlotte and Gary were back in contact, after publicly falling out in June on Twitter following the breakdown of their relationship. It was said that the former co-stars had got back in touch and were on a friendly basis, but Charlotte has appeared to play this down.
She revealed that the conversation between herself and Gaz was brief and that it hadn't made any difference to her.
Sources had claimed that Charlotte and Gaz were back speaking again. They had said: "It's all very early days but they've started talking and messaging again in secret which is a massive step. A lot happened and some of it's still raw, but right now they're just happy to have each other back in their lives. Everything is on a friends basis right now."
Speaking to The Sun, however, Charlotte explained: "[Gary] messaged us to see how I was, but that was as far as the conversation led. It doesn't make any difference to us, no. We went through a lot and yeah, I still stand where I was."
Ruling out any hope of the pair rekindling things, Charlotte added: "My love life is [non] existent right now."
She and Gary had been linked earlier this year, after the pair picked up their on/off romance while filming for Geordie Shore's Big Birthday Battle series in January. In the months that followed, it had seemed like Charlotte and Gaz were dating, but they both insisted their relationship hadn't been made exclusive.
They had, however, been trying to work out whether they did have a future together, but any romance between them came to a halt when reports surfaced of Gary's antics while filming for Ex On The Beach's new series in April.
While Gary later admitted to sleeping with one girl on the first night of filming, he claimed he hadn't cheated on Charlotte as they hadn't put a label on their relationship.
Fans later found out that while Gary had been away filming, Charlotte was hospitalised with internal bleeding following an ectopic pregnancy. She had to undergo urgent surgery to treat a torn fallopian tube.
Charlotte opened up about her pregnancy heartbreak in an interview with Heat magazine, and revealed she had phoned Gary to tell him the news while he was overseas. She said he had been "lovely" to her about it all, but she later realised the pair were not meant to be.
Initially Gary stayed silent on the pregnancy, but later penned a column for Daily Star to share his side. He accused Charlotte of going public with it when they had agree to keep it private, and stressed that he had slept with someone else on Ex On The Beach, before he was made aware of her hospitalisation.
His column seemed to prompt Charlotte's decision to quit Geordie Shore. She told fans that part of the reason why she was leaving was to distance herself from Gaz. Charlotte accused him for not admitting he was in the wrong when it came to their split, and accused Gary of being a "liar" and a "cheater."
Gary, meanwhile, responded and told Charlotte not to blame him for her exit. He suggested that the pair both needed to "move on" from each other.
While Charlotte did admit she was "embarrassed" over her outburst at Gaz on the social media site, she insisted that she sticks by her decision to leave Geordie Shore.
