TOWIE's Megan McKenna tells Pete Wicks: 'I think we like each other more than we say'

TOWIE's Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks' romance has certainly been tested since they got together earlier this year but all it's done is bring them closer together.

They've faced two major dramas in recent months: the rumour that Megan slept with Jake Hall (which they both denied) and Chloe Lewis' claim to have seen Megan "grinding" with another man in Marbella.

But on Wednesday night's episode (20 July), Megan and Pete proved none of it had come between them and, if anything, they were stronger than ever.

Pete replied: "When you do go off on one and lose your temper, a lot of the time you're in the right. It's just the way you do it. Sometimes there are better ways to deal with things but a lot of the time you are in the right and that's why I will never not have your back and I'll always be behind you and support you. I wouldn't be with you if I wasn't fully in it."

"I'm not saying I wanted all this agg to happen while I was out here," said Megan. "But this agg has made me and you realise we like each other a lot more than we say we do."

"I agree babe," said Pete. "Although we're quite early into this relationship I think we've dealt with a lot of things that probably a lot of relationships don't have to deal with so early on. It probably does show how strong we are as a couple."

"Bring it on," agreed Megan.

Meanwhile, Pete also confronted Chloe during the episode and told her she needed to back off Megan, saying it wasn't Megan's fault that Chloe's relationship with Jake ended.

You're trying to make out she was doing something in Marbella," said Pete. You have to let it go. You're still bitching and going on at her. You don't need to like her. You can't keep saying Megan ruined your relationship because it was f**ked before and you know it. You can't blame her for everything that's gone on with you and Jake. That's what it feels you're doing at the moment and it's unfair on her."

"It just has to be dropped for your own benefit," he added. "It ain't good for you. It ain't healthy for you to be like this all the time, is it?"

Chloe told him: "It's not a f**king rumour, Pete. You want it to not be true. You are going to be majorly mugged off."

TOWIE continues Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
