TOWIE star Megan McKenna and her boyfriend Pete Wicks are forced to face ANOTHER rumour in the new series of the show.

You may have seen the pictures already, but it looks like Megan and Chloe Lewis clash yet again. Things had become very tense between the girls last series, when Chloe accused Megan of sleeping with her ex-boyfriend Jake Hall.

Megan and Jake have both denied the rumours, but now it seems, Chloe has another bone to pick with Megan...

While we aren't aware yet of what the rumour is exactly, Megan has revealed it "puts pressure" on her relationship with Pete.

Speaking exclusively to Reveal, ahead of TOWIE returning on Sunday (17 July), she told us: "There's another rumour that gets thrown about. A different one this time. It really doesn't surprise me to be honest, but obviously it's not nice because I've got a relationship on the show, and when there are rumours floating about, it puts pressure on that."

Pete made sure to have Megan's back last time round, and it sounds like he goes out of his way to support his girlfriend when Chloe confronts her in Palma.

We asked how Pete reacted to this new rumour and Megan said: "Pete is quite protective over me and you will get to see that side of him this series. It's nice to have someone that has my back as much as Pete does."

We're glad to hear the drama hasn't affected the pair as a couple, then! Megan reassured us that things between herself and Pete are "currently amazing", but she did admit she didn't enjoy her time away with him and the rest of the cast.

"It's probably one of the worst holidays I've ever had," she said. Megan explained that now she has a serious relationship on the show, she is scared of how it might be affected as storylines unfold.

She explained: "I feel like now it is scary having a relationship and real feelings on the show because there is always going to be things that happen. That's why I didn't really enjoy Palma that much, not because of everyone there, but because it is more of a stress as your real life is involved now.

"I had some nice nights out and I got close to Bobby and Danni, Georgia and Kate I got quite close to as well, and I got to bond with everyone else a little bit better. But, I'm always not going to get on with everyone, you can't get on with everyone, can you?"

TOWIE Series 17, Episode 12: Megan confronted by Chloe
To air 6 April 2016

Chloe and Megan clashed over Jake Hall last series.

Chloe, meanwhile, has made no secret of her dislike for Megan.

Following on from last series, she is convinced that Megan did sleep with Jake and has accused her co-star of lying to her face about it.

Chloe said in a video shared by TOWIE: "At the end of the day I never blamed Megan, I never blamed her for this situation at all," said Chloe. "I mean, it takes two to tango. I never ever blamed her.

"But if I'm honest now, considering that she stood there and lied to my face, and is meant to be this girls girl and this good girl, and has only slept with [a number of] people on her left hand, I expected her to come clean with me and she didn't. So if I'm honest, I can't bear the sight of her."

Chloe added: "I don't think you can be friends with someone that has slept with your boyfriend."

Will they ever get to the bottom of things?!
