After six weeks of sunshine and romance, the hit ITV2 programme came to an end this evening (11 July), but the hunt is already on for next year's islanders.
The exciting news was announced tonight, as it was revealed the show's viewing figures had doubled since the first series. We just can't get enough!
While Caroline urged viewers to apply for next year, Rosemary Newell, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions for ITV, said: "Love Island has come back so strong this year, and become unmissable viewing, particularly with younger viewers, which is our focus on ITV2 .
"As six weeks of hugely entertaining television come to a close, we're delighted to be bringing the show back for a another run next year."
