Sophie Gradon's silence was practically deafening last night as Katie Salmon kissed Adam Maxted in Love Island.

In the latest recoupling, Adam chose Katie over Tina Stinnes - which saw her leave the show - and they later shared a snog following a date.

But while Tom Powell was quick to congratulate Adam for finally making a connection with a fellow islander, his on/off girlfriend Sophie remained silent.

Sophie shared her own kiss with Katie, before leaving her devastated by quitting the show to focus on her relationship with Tom, but she noticeably did not pass comment on the latest smooch.

Despite tweeting throughout the show, Sophie chose only to focus on Tina's departure rather than her former love interest getting it on with someone else.

Meanwhile, last night Sophie again defended her relationship with Tom after she was sent his alleged Snapchat photo of a woman in the thong by a Twitter user.

Tom has not commented on the picture, which is said to have been taken in his bedroom, but Sophie made light of the situation by joking how untidy his chest of drawers are!

In tonight's show, Caroline Flack will announce the results of the public vote, which will see two couples leave the island.

Who will it be? Tune in at 9pm to find out!

Love Island continues on ITV2.
