The former Miss Great Britain, 30, quit the villa on Wednesday night (6 July) in order to salvage her romance with Tom, which she feared was on the rocks after she kissed Katie Salmon.
And now she's heading home, she's hoping Tom will give her a second chance…
"I am so wildly attracted to Tom it's not even funny. Tom and I together are just … it's fireworks!" she told The Sun.
"It's unreal and that is something I am not prepared to give up. No one will give me what he can give me – both sexually and emotionally."
"Tom could be the one," she added. "He's as crazy and as mad as I am."
Love Island viewers saw Sophie leave the villa on Wednesday evening, after deciding she needed to see Tom and try to save their relationship.
She was coupled with fitness instructor Tom, 24, when he was eliminated last week. But the next day, model Katie Salmon, 20, arrived and sparks flew with Soph. The women kissed on a date and coupled up at the latest recoupling ceremony.
Sophie, however, did a complete U-Turn just days later, telling a hurt and disappointed Katie she wanted to cool things off as she loved Tom and just wanted him.
Her decision came after the villa were read tweets from the public in a challenge, one of which compared Sophie to Terry Walsh, who ditched eliminated girlfriend Malin Andersson for then-newcomer Emma-Jane Woodham.
Speaking to Reveal after her exit, Sophie slammed claims she had acted like Terry, telling us: "I'm definitely no Terry. I want to be 100 percent loyal to Tom.
"I'm not going to do a Terry on him. There's far too many feelings there between me and him. It's still an open book with me and Tom – in my eyes we are still in a relationship and I've got to go home and reconcile with him as soon as possible.
"I had said to Katie, which I don't think was actually shown, so it's probably going to be her word against mine, that I was always going to see Tom on the outside and that I wanted a chilled out, no pressure coupling up... she completely exaggerated to the other islanders that I kissed her - it was just a peck on the lips. It was nothing."
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
