The former Miss Great Britain, 30, shared a photo on Thursday morning (7 July) as she prepared to depart Majorca following her decision to quit the villa.
Sophie added the caption: "I'M COMING HOME! #toontoon #boarding."
Love Island viewers saw her leave the villa on Wednesday evening, after deciding she needed to see Tom Powell and try to save their relationship.
She was coupled with fitness instructor Tom, 24, when he was eliminated last week. But the next day, glamour model Katie Salmon, 20, arrived and sparks flew. The women kissed on a date and coupled up at the latest recoupling ceremony.
Sophie, however, did a complete U-Turn just days later, telling a hurt and disappointed Katie she wanted to cool things as she loved Tom and just wanted him.
Her decision came after the villa were read tweets, one of which compared Sophie to Terry Walsh, who ditched eliminated girlfriend Malin Andersson for then-newcomer Emma-Jane Woodham.
Tom has told fans he's not quite sure what to make of it all. He tweeted last night that Sophie's exit was a huge shock to him and later said they'd had brief contact but would speak further on her return to the UK.
Fans, meanwhile, have been telling Sophie they'll miss her in the villa:
