Malin Andersson has thanked fans for their support after her dramatic Love Island comeback.

Last night, Malin made a shock return to Love Island and confronted her ex-boyfriend Terry Walsh, who hooked up with new girl Emma-Jane Woodham after she had left the villa.

During their heated confrontation, Malin warned Terry that the public support her- and she has now sent a message of thanks to her backers.

Taking to Twitter this evening (5 July), Malin told her followers that she has been inundated with kind tweets since the dramatic scenes aired last night. She added that she is even struggling to keep up with them all!

She tweeted: "So I try to nap.. But I just can't. I try and read all your msgs & comments. Love them & Thank you."

Malin confronted Terry while he was enjoying a drink away from the villa with his pal Scott Thomas and, once back with their islanders, even his new girlfriend Emma admitted she "felt sorry" for Malin.

Support for the make-up artist has come from far and wide, with even Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby making her feelings known.

Meanwhile, away from the drama, Malin has been able to take some humour from the situation. The confrontation ended with Terry storming off with Malin's sunglasses by accident, and she has now changed her Twitter cover photo to one of her shades.

She joked: "My header is now in memory of my sunglasses. #rip."

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
