The Welsh reality star, 24, has landed a role in Liverpool's production of Aladdin at the Epstein Theatre, starting in December.
He'll play the Genie of the Lamp.
Jordan revealed the news via Twitter, adding: "Don't think anyone could have expected this!"
He joins a cast that includes Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton as Princess Jasmine and Sean Smith – one half of X Factor's Same Difference – as Aladdin.
The show's producers later released the official poster for Aladdin, showing a very bronzed – and topless! – Jordan.
Aladdin runs from Thursday, 8 December until Sunday, 8 January. For more information or ticket bookings visit the official website here.
Jordan found fame on series three and four of MTV's Ex On The Beach, as well as ITV's Magaluf Weekender and Ibiza Weekender. He previously dated TOWIE's Megan McKenna.
Jordan hit the headlines in June after Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson branded him fame hungry and "embarrassing" after he enjoyed a night out with reality out Jem Lucy.
But Jordan hit back saying he was confused why Marnie had taken a swipe at him when they'd previously been good friends: she even described him as like a brother once.
"She is more trouble than she is worth," he told Daily Star. "We had some fun and I wouldn't have said anything negative about her if she hadn't done so about me. She could've at least told me before she stabbed me in the back to get some headlines."
A rep for Marnie, 24, had no comment to make.
