Jodie appeared on ITV's daytime show to talk about her plans to find a sperm donor, but viewers became a little sidetracked when they noticed the documentary maker unfortunately had purple lipstick on her teeth.
Jodie's vampy lippy had spread onto her gnashers, and she wasn't made aware of it until she came off air. Now, Jodie has reacted in a new YouTube video, admitting she had felt a little "silly" when she found out.
Speaking in the video, Jodie claimed she wasn't happy with how the interview went, commenting that the lipstick on her teeth was just one of the reasons. She said that she felt like her chat with Phillip Schofied and Holly Willoughby was focused on her past and her ex-boyfriends, rather than the independent women she has become.
She said: "I wasn't happy with how it went. I certainly don't want to focus on my past. I like to focus on the future and moving forward... I want to be a good role model to young women, I really do. I want to show that independence is a great thing. I wanted to turn today into a positive, rather than dwell on the negative, and the fact that I had lipstick on my teeth and that maybe someone should have told me."
Jodie added: "I definitely would have told somebody I was interviewing. Yes, I felt silly. Yes, when I found out I felt silly, but no one told me and it's not the end of the world."
The 37-year-old seemed to take the mishap in her stride, tweeting after her appearance on the show: "Why didn't someone tell me???? haha never mind. Really not the end of the world."
Jodie had spoken of her plans to find a sperm donor during This Morning, after taking another vow of celibacy. Jodie has decided to abstain from sex once more, after splitting with her estranged husband James Placido.
James and Jodie had married in secret in Barbados back in August 2015. They announced their separation eight months later, and Jodie has since said she feels "embarrassed" to have wed James. She so far hasn't revealed the reason behind their split.
Explaining her decision to turn to sperm donation to have a baby, Jodie said: "Before I even met James, I was looking into sperm donation because I realised time was ticking and I'm not getting any younger and if I want to have kids there are limited options available.
"It was all sorted in my head, then I met James and thought I was in love and he convinced me I didn't need a sperm donor anymore because we were perfect for each other. Now I'm back to square one."
