Love Island: Sophie Gradon's Twitter account has branded Emma-Jane Woodham "deviant" after Tom Powell has claimed Emma sleeping with Terry Walsh was "aimed at him."

Last night, fans were left shocked after scenes aired showing Emma having sex with Terry in full view - despite her vowing never to have sex on TV. She took a major U-turn and decided to sleep with Terry without covering herself with the duvet, as she didn't think it would be aired.

Now, Tom has claimed viewers didn't see Emma then coming to sit on his bed after she and Terry had finished. He told The Sun following his exit from the show: "She decided afterwards to go to the toilet to clean herself up and then she came and sat on the corner of my bed with me and Sophie."

Tom added: "Why would she sit on the corner of my bed after sleeping with Terry? It's strange. A small part of me thinks she did it to make me jealous and it was aimed at me."

On hearing Tom's comments, Sophie's Twitter page reacted, telling the reality star's followers they "dry barfed onto the floor" in response to the revelations.

Sophie's account tweeted: "WOW just WOW We've just dry barfed onto the floor at #TeamSophie HQ."

Hitting out at Emma, they then added: "Look up deviant and you'll see Emma's name... 1. Deviant departing from usual or accepted standards, especially in social or sexual behaviour. #Loveisland #Teamsophie."

Sophie's Twitter then agreed with a fan that tweeted: "@LoveIslandSoph I thought it looked like Emma kept looking over at Tom and Sophie?! #teamsophie."

They responded: "She did..."

Tom's claims come after Sophie accused Emma of intentionally sleeping with Terry to get back at Tom, as she had seen Sophie and Tom under the duvet in the bed next to her.

Sophie claimed she thinks Emma is "up to something" and her opinion has now completely changed when it comes to the 19-year-old. She said: "I think it was because Tom and I, under the duvet, were having a nice time together. She hopped on Terry because she thought, 'Anything Tom can do, I can do better.'"

Sophie continues: "I think I've been really naive, really naive. It just makes me think I can't take her word now; I can't take anything she's said to me."

The other islanders had tried to play down Sophie's theory, but Tom's comments seem to explain why Sophie had taken Emma and Terry sleeping together so personally.

The girls later came to blows, after Tom was sent home from the villa in the latest dumping, as Sophie claimed Emma's game plan had been "ruined" by him leaving.

Emma asked Sophie to elaborate on what she meant by "game plan" and things got heated as Terry Walsh stepped in to back up Emma. As they both started talking, Sophie shouted back: "Are you both going to f**king stand up and shout at me? Are you both going to come at me? Do you want to talk about this like f**king adults and sit quietly and talk?"

As their row played out onscreen, fans took to Twitter to criticise Emma and Terry for waiting to confront Sophie when she was most vulnerable and without Tom.

One user commented: "Watching #LoveIsland from last night. Amazing how everyone just stood and watched Terry & Emma shout at Sophie after Tom leaves. #idiots."

Another added: "#LoveIsland get terry&Emma out Shameful to wait until tom left 2gang up on Sophie.Terry pulled tom 2one side why not do the same with Sophie! (sic)"

Others, however, sided with Emma and called out Sophie for speaking about her co-star "behind her back."

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2.
