The islanders are getting ready for another recoupling... which will see TWO of them going home for good! Eek! We know Caroline Flack promised a "bombshell" and this is a good 'un!
On Wednesday night's episode (29 June), the islanders receive a text saying a recoupling is taking place. The boys have the power to choose which girl they'd like to couple with.
Then they get a major shock...
Everybody has to vote on which two couples they felt were the weakest. Those couples will then face the public vote and one person from each couple will be saved and one will be dumped!
So mean, right?!
After recoupling, the group receives a text that reads: "Islanders, now that you are coupled up, it's time to find out who you think are the weakest couples in the villa. Tonight, each couple will vote for who they think are the two weakest couples. You must now discuss in your couples who you're going to choose and then submit your decision by text. You must not discuss your decision with anyone else."
Not the easiest of questions... and who will they choose?!
Sophie Gradon worries that everyone will think her recent split from Tom Powell makes them weak, but also hopes: "I think everyone can see that we do have a genuine bond and that we need more time."
Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde base their decision on which couples are romantic and which are friendly, with Nathan pointing out: "The way you've got to look at it is, it's Love Island not Friend Island."
Scott Thomas also urges Kady McDermott to think that way, telling her: "There's a couple in here that I don't think have got any romantic feelings towards each other. It's hard, because we both like them as individuals."
The possible couples who are not romantic are Adam Maxted and Liana Isadora Van Riel and Tina Stinnes and Troy Frith or Terry Walsh. If you remember, Terry and Tina made a pact to couple as friends but then Emma-Jane Woodham arrived and it seemed Terry might go off with her.
Then Troy Frith arrived and cosied up to Tina, suggesting she might have found a new coupling. Interestingly, whoever newbie Troy chooses will have immunity, along with him, in the elimination.
Basically it's up to us! Tonight we'll get to vote to save one person from each of the bottom two couples, meaning their partner is dumped. Eeeeeek!
We'll find out the results on Thursday night!
Oh, and Caroline Flack WILL be back at the villa to tell them all in person.
WE CANNOT WAIT! Even if it means saying goodbye to two of our islanders :(
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
