Excited is an understatement.

Caroline had been catching up on all the episodes she missed following her time at Glastonbury and taking to Twitter, she told her 1.89 million followers: "Right , I'm on my 6th Love island of the day ... I'm back out there this week...BIG THINGS GONNA HAPPEN ... (sic)"

She then shared a photo of herself on board her flight to Mallorca with the caption written across it: "Taking off. Mostly excited about eating Ruffles and seeing Terry's tan."

Caroline also added: "Sooooooooooooooo excited."

If that didn't already have us super intrigued about what's about to go down in the villa, our friends at Digital Spy have teased that Love Island may face not one, but TWO bombshells.

An insider told them: "Caroline's involved in big, sensational bombshells... She's involved in two really significant things. Her presence will definitely be felt."

Reveal has contacted a spokesperson for ITV.

Caroline's return to the island, comes after viewers recently saw two new boys, Troy Frith and Oliver Maxwell Fernandez, enter the villa. In a huge twist, the boys had just 24 hours to try and win over the girls, as only one of them would become a fully fledged islander.

Love Island Episode 30: Troy and Oliver arrive during love is blind challenge

Troy wasted no time in getting to know Tina and the pair kissed, after choosing to spend the night together in the villa's outside bed. Oliver, meanwhile, turned his attentions to newly single Sophie (who has just split from boyfriend Tom) and told her he thinks the pair have a "connection."

Unluckily for him, though, Sophie told Oliver it was "too soon" for her to date again - even if she thinks he is a lovely guy.

The girls had to then vote for which boy they wanted to stay, with all seven choosing Troy and Oliver being sent home.

Meanwhile, Terry amped up his romance with Emma-Jane and found himself falling out of favour with the girls, as they struggled to deal with him ditching Malin so soon after her exit.

Malin took to Twitter to tells fans she was pleased the girls had her back and when conversation turned to potential bedroom antics between Terry and Emma, Malin sassily hit back: " "She can touch Terry's small willy, it's ok!"

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2.
