Fans have been hooked when it comes to Terry and Malin's relationship, as they have watched their romance break down onscreen following Malin's dumping from the island.
The public had voted for her to leave the villa, and while Terry had vowed to head home with her, he later decided to stay and has since gone on to claim he is single. Oh, and he's struck up a romance with new girl Emma-Jane Woodham, telling her he and Malin were never "right for each other."
Despite that, though, a heartbroken Malin has proven she isn't one to hold grudges.
A fan had tweeted the reality star to ask if she and Terry could ever be friends in the future and suggesting that she isn't against the idea, Malin replied: "No hate...!"
She then added a smiley face emoji alongside her tweet.
We can't say we were expecting to see that!
Malin had told fans it had "killed her" to hear that Terry was thinking about dumping her before her Love Island exit. In the days after Malin's departure, Terry told his islanders he wasn't missing his former flame at all.
He said: "When I met Ma, the spark was amazing. But as time went on, she was just chipping and chipping and chipping and chipping. I said up there, 'Babe, you're pushing me away'. And I went to bed that night and in my head I was like, when I wake up I have to break up with her.
"I don't know how I was going to do it but I can't continue like this, it's killing me. I just want to be happy with someone. I want to move forward, not move back into my past."
Fans then watched Terry admit he fancied Tom Powell's ex Emma-Jane, and he was given permission by Tom to try and win her over. Terry and Emma then ventured out on a date together and shared a quick peck on the lips.
Terry told his new love interest: "It's weird. It's been a quick turnaround with me and Malin. She is a lovely girl, but I just don't think we're right for each other. It's nice coming here with you as a breath of fresh air and a clean start."
Watching that back, Malin declared on Twitter that she is now "single." She appeared to take a swipe at Terry by tweeting Adele lyrics that read: "Send my love to your new lover - Treat her better."
She also shared her side of the story with The Sun, revealing how Terry had asked her to "wait for him" on the outside.
Malin said: "When I left, I was put in lock down for a day and that is when I was told he wasn't leaving. I was allowed to video message him but that wasn't shown and he sent me one.
"He said to me 'I'm not here for the girls, I'm here for you. I'm here to enjoy the experience with the lads now, I'm looking forward to spending my time with you on the outside so just wait for me.'
"He's completely gone back on that word."
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2.
