The reality star opened up about the moment in her latest column for Star magazine, saying she initially panicked at thinking the image was real, before seeing it had been cleverly Photoshopped together.
Marnie wrote: "I had a scare once when a fan Photoshopped a picture of me and put a d*ck in my mouth. I had a breakdown when I saw it because I thought it was real! Thank God it wasn't."
She shared her story following reports that an explicit 57-second video allegedly showing Kym Marsh performing a sex act had been shopped around.
Marnie said: "I really feel for Kym Marsh having to worry about a sex tape being leaked. If I were her, I would do everything I could to stop it coming out."
Coronation Street's Kym told OK! magazine: "As you can imagine, I felt immediately sick to my stomach and was extremely upset – it's been devastating for me and my family."
"It's been one of the worst weeks of my life and I won't rest until the person is caught."
