Yes, really! They mimicked the former Prime Minister's speech, following the recent EU referendum, result to tell fans they had been "honoured and proud" to work on The Xtra Factor for one series last year.
It was confirmed yesterday (27 June) that Rochelle and Melvin have been replaced by Radio 1 DJ Matt Edmondson.
Sharing their video to Twitter, Rochelle and Melvin took their departure from the spinoff show in high spirits. They tweeted alongside their clip: "*NEWSFLASH*
@Rochellehumes and @Melvinodoom announce their Xtra-Factor [X]-it."
The pair were then seen standing in matching suits in front of 10 Downing Street, where the 10 had been replaced by the X Factor logo.
Rochelle began: "Good afternoon Great Britain, now over the past few weeks the good people at The Xtra Factor have been tasked with making a monumental decision."
Melvin continued: "The Xtra Factor have made a very clear choice to take a different path moving forward and as such the show requires fresh leadership to take it in this new direction."
"We both have done everything we can to steady the ship up to this point," Rochelle said. "But it's now time for a new captain to steer the show to its next destination."
Melvin added: "Now we have spoken to his majesty Simon Cowell to discuss the steps that we'll be taking and after my glorious rendition of Bruno Mars last series, he asked me to take part in this year's competition, but I respectfully declined, of course."
Rochelle then concluded: "We love The Xtra Factor and feel honoured and proud to serve it as hosts and we wish the new team every success in the future."
Following their speech, the pair then joked about returning their suits as they now "needed the money" after being replaced.
Matt will now take over from the presenting duo and not only will he be fronting The Xtra Factor, but he will be presenting the show live after every X Factor episode.
He revealed: "This year, for the first year ever, the Xtra Factor is going live on ITV2 from the first show.
"From the beginning of the series, we will be live - it's a bit terrifying - on ITV2 after every single episode. That means when you watch the show, I'll be watching the show then we can get together afterwards and have a big chat about it."
Matt isn't the only new addition to The X Factor this year, as the judging panel has seen a major shake up too. Cheryl, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw have all quit the panel, paving the way for former judges Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger to return.
They join Simon Cowell on the show and it looks like the panel are already having a blast. Fans were treated to a sneak peek from X Factor's thirteenth series.
In the clip, Simon, Nicole, Louis and Sharon can be seen dancing and laughing along with a contestant as they audition.
