23-year-old Troy will be heading into the Love Island villa with fellow newcomer Oliver Maxwell Fernandez, and prior to his entrance, Troy has revealed he used to date Marnie.
According to OK! Online, Troy claimed he had dated Marnie, while also dating Ex On The Beach star Kayleigh Morris, and it "didn't go down too well" when both girls eventually found out.
Now, Marnie has seemed to have her say on Troy gracing our screens. Without directly referring to Troy, she tweeted: "Name dropping a ex or anything like it purely to get on a tv show is probably the most annoying thing in the world #cringe."
Fans were quick to link Marnie's tweet to Troy.
Troy had previously said about her: "I was speaking to Marnie, who is a lovely girl, but because I'm a greedy boy, I was speaking to Kayleigh from Ex On The Beach at the same time. They found out, and it didn't go down too well to be honest.
"I'm sweet with Marnie now, we still talk on a friend level but it didn't go down too well."

The arrival of Troy and Oliver is sure to shake things up on Love Island, as there is currently three single ladies, Liana Isadora Van Riel, Tina Stinnes and newcomer Emma-Jane Woodham. Four, if Tom Powell follows through on his threat to quit, and leaves Sophie Gradon in the villa.
There are also two single guys, Adam Maxted and Terry Walsh, that Troy and Oliver will no doubt be going head-to-head with to try and win over the ladies.
Ahead of his Love Island debut, Troy has said: "I'm going to bring [excitement] to the table, definitely. More laughter, too. There's a lot of drama in there at the minute and I want to make it more fun and for everyone to have a laugh."
Love Island continue tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
