5ive star Ritchie Neville has hit back after it was reported he branded Abz Love's reality show "laughable".

Last year, Ritchie's former bandmate Abz and his now-fiancée Vicky Fallon starred in their own BBC mini series Country Strife: Abz On The Farm, and the pair were shown forging a new life together as farmers after kissing goodbye to the bright lights of London.

Ritchie has now spoken out in a newspaper and admitted he "laughed out loud" at the show, however it was then spun up by a different publication into claims he branded it "laughable".

Taking to Twitter to vent his frustration - and to put a stop to any potential feud rumours - Ritchie blasted: "Absolute rubbish, I said I laughed because I found it funny!! Oh the twist of words!"

In August 2014, Abz shocked fans, along with his own bandmates, by announcing on Twitter that he was quitting 5ive.

However, despite their initial shock, remaining members Ritchie, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon have since continued to wish Abz and Vicky all the best in their new venture.

Since the couple's programme aired on BBC Two, Abz and Vicky have announced their engagement.
