Last week, Zara slept with fellow Islander Alex Bowen on the ITV2 show and was promptly de-crowned as Miss Great Britain 2016 for her actions.
But despite Zara previously admitting she forgot the cameras were on, she has defended her decision to sleep with someone on TV.
In a new interview with The Sun, Zara - who quit Love Island on Sunday after her mother was taken ill - is standing by her actions.
She said: "There is nothing wrong with having sex on TV. I haven't committed a crime, so why should I have my title taken from me?"
Zara also insisted to the tabloid that she was not "pressured" into sleeping with Alex and was "caught in the moment".
Zara's dethroning has certainly split opinions. While the likes of Gemma Garrett, who is Miss Great Britain 2008, slammed her decision to have sex on TV, thousands of fans have signed a petition calling for her to be reinstated.
Meanwhile, following her shock departure, Zara's fellow Islanders paid tribute to her with their very own pageant!
Malin showed off her art skills by drawing a caricature of Zara, while Kady did a tap dancing twerk routine. Liana read a self-penned poem, Sophie sang, Tina devised a stand-up routine, Olivia hula-hooped, while Cara performed fire-breathing!
Ahead of the show airing, an excited Zara tweeted: "Can't wait to watch this tonight. Who is going to be #MissLoveIsland2016?!? Go girls, miss you all! @LoveIsland."
