In tonight's episode, viewers will see Zara, 20, breaking the news to the islanders that she has to return to the UK because her mother has fallen ill.
Her exit came two days after she was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title for having sex with Alex Bowen in the house, which she later said she regretted as she wanted to couple up with Adam.
Commenting on Zara's exit, Adam said: "With Zara unfortunately having to leave, it brings me back to being single again. And there are two single girls in the villa. So I have a bit of control again."
New girls Tina Stinnes and Liana Isadora Van Riel entered the villa last week and are both single… and Adam already has his eye on one of them.
"Both those girls I'm sure want to stay in the villa so I will make them work for it," he said. "So far Tina is in the lead and I just think I'll get on better with her if we were to couple up."
He may be in luck as Tina has said she's into Adam and his Irish accent...
Meanwhile, Liana has a date with Alex later tonight, after choosing to get to know him better, much to Olivia's concern. And Olivia was right to be worried as Liana tells Alex she's looking for "maybe love, maybe fun", adding: "You're the boy version of me."
"You're the definition of my type," she tells him. "All the girls were asking me who I was going to take on a date and straightaway I said you. Tall, blonde, cheeky…I've had a good time."
Zara, meanwhile, is back in the UK, where she's told fans she's "humbled" by the support she has received.
The model was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title on Friday after the organisation said they could no longer promote her as a positive role model.
Zara was informed of her dethronement off-camera, but then gathered the islanders together to tell them, breaking down as she said a "stupid" mistake had "ruined everything" she had worked for.
"I did Miss Great Britain because I wanted to do it. If you put that hard work in, the commitment, the time and the effort… I did. And I won. And I worked so hard. And now just one stupid silly mistake, being in the moment, has ruined everything. I can't even out into words how gutted I am."
Love Island continues 10pm tonight on ITV2.
