Over the last few months, Charlotte had been linked to her co-star Gary Beadle and the pair appeared to pick up their on/off romance. However, things didn't work out for the pair and a series of events led to the pair publicly falling out on Twitter.
Since then, Charlotte has quit Geordie Shore (revealing at the time that she wanted to distance herself from Gaz), while Gary has said they both need to "move on." Planning to do so, Charlotte has now said in a recent interview that she is hoping to find love again.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the reality star said: "I would like to start dating again in the close future."
Charlotte made the admission after claiming that her "faith has now been restored in men." She didn't give too much away when it came to explaining how, but Charlotte did say: "I'm doing something really exciting at the minute where I've met lots of amazing people who have restored my faith in men and the male race."
Her comments come after Charlotte exclusively told Reveal that she is on the lookout for The One, and is hoping to find him by 2017.
The 26-year-old told us: "I feel like I've grown up a lot over the past year. I'm moving into my own house and thinking about more serious things. I want to be in a happy relationship."
Charlotte had been linked to Gaz, after they decided to give their romance another go while filming for Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle back in January.
Gaz had told Charlotte he was ready to commit to her properly, she had her reservations given their tumultuous history and things came to a halt when she ended up drunkenly kissing her co-star Marty McKenna.
Charlotte did manage to persuade Gary to give her another chance, however, and the pair wrapped up the series by promising to work on their relationship again.
In the months that followed, everyone had presumed they were dating, but both Gaz and Charlotte insisted they were single and neither made things exclusive between them.
Any romance they had then came to a halt when reports emerged claiming Gaz had bedded Jem Lucy while filming for Ex On The Beach's new series back in April. It then came to light that at the time Gaz had been filming, Charlotte had been hospitalised with internal bleeding, after an ectopic pregnancy tore her fallopian tube.
She went public with the pregnancy in an interview with Heat magazine. While she said that Gaz had been "lovely" to her when she told him about it, she later realised they were not meant to be.
Gaz, meanwhile, accused Charlotte of going public with the pregnancy when their management had vowed to stay silent. He shared his side in a penned column for Daily Star, revealing MTV had told him about Charlotte's hospitalisation and she had told him to continue filming as he was contracted.
While he admitted to sleeping with Jem on the show, he denied cheating on Charlotte, as neither had put a label on their romance before he left. His column prompted Charlotte's decision to quit and announcing her exit on Twitter, she also hit out at Gaz, claiming he 'hadn't admitted he had been in the wrong.'
Following their online fallout, Gaz appeared to reach out to Charlotte, when she suggested she regrets her decision to quit Geordie Shore. He had tweeted her to say it wasn't too late for Charlotte to join her co-stars, but she failed to respond.
Gary is currently filming with the Geordie Shore cast for series thirteen in Magaluf, while Charlotte is overseas in Australia. She has since ruled out speculation she will return for cameo appearances, but has teased an exciting new project she has already started working on with MTV.
