According to The Mirror, a couple became engaged during auditions in Manchester on Monday (13 June) and we could be seeing the big moment on TV.
A source said: "There was a couple who auditioned together. They've only been an item for six months but they moved in together after a few weeks. The man proposed in front of the X Factor cameras.
"Afterwards Simon Cowell was joking, 'Just call me Cupid' and told them they have to call their first child Simon if they get married and have a family."
So far, there's no word on who the mystery couple are or how they did during their audition, but hopefully we'll get to see their love story unfold when X Factor returns to ITV later this year.
X Factor has changed the way auditions are done this year, reintroducing the intimate audition room, meaning hopefuls have to impress a majority of judges before going on to arena auditions.
There's also a new judging panel in the form of Simon, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne, and long-time host Dermot O'Leary is returning after a one-year hiatus.
Simon returns as head judge and is the only judge on the panel to have remained from last year, after Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw all quit.
Louis is returning after a one-year hiatus. He was an original judge on the show but took a break last series. "He'd say otherwise but I knew Simon missed me last year!" joked Louis.
"I'm delighted to be back on the panel especially beside my two favourite female judges Sharon and Nicole, and I'm looking forward to taking them all back to Dublin this year when we head there for auditions."
(It had been rumoured Irish Louis told Simon a condition for his return was auditions being held in Ireland!)
Another original judge returning is rock matriarch Sharon, who said she can't wait to meet Simon's young son Eric, who is a familiar face behind the scenes on his dad's shows. "I'm overjoyed about going back to The X Factor, sitting with Lou, Lou, gorgeous Nicole and naughty Simon. But most of all, I can't wait to meet baby Eric."
Sharon left the show at the end of series four, before returning for the tenth series and departing again.
Finally, former Pussycat Doll Nicole is also making a return. She previously guest judged before landing a permanent judging role in series 9 and 10. "I can't wait to be back in the UK and on the show with the best Judges sitting alongside me on the panel. I'm excited about discovering, mentoring and winning with an exciting new act this year. And having had winning contestants in the past, Simon knows I will do it."
Judges' auditions began on Friday, June 10 in Leicester.
