At the start of June, the 26-year-old dramatically quit the MTV show that made her famous, saying she didn't want to work alongside ex-boyfriend and co-star Gaz Beadle anymore.
But a bit of good news! In a new interview with MTV.co.uk, the star confirmed she's been in talks with the network about a "great new idea" that would see her returning to TV.
Charlotte teased: "I'm massively excited for the future and - don't worry - this isn't the last you'll see of me on MTV. I'm working on a great new idea with the team there and will always be one of the 'family'."
And a producer for Geordie Shore added: "We're working with Charlotte on other new and exciting projects, and she knows the door is open for her to return to Geordie Shore when she's ready."
Charlotte, however, has ruled out returning for cameo and special appearances.
Responding to rumours of occasionally appearing on the show, she tweeted: "I appreciate all the optimistic articles of me returning to @mtvgeordieshore for "Special Occasions" But sadly there's no truth in these...
"I am no longer a part of Geordie shore and have no plans in returning. It's massively devastating for me and I will miss them all. But I'm ready and MASSIVELY excited for my real life to start now. Just to clear that up from the articles that have been claiming otherwise."
Charlotte is currently in Australia. Her final Geordie Shore appearance aired on MTV on Tuesday night, when the Big Birthday Battle series came to an end.
Her decision to quit the show came after a difficult week in which she revealed she'd been hospitalised and undergone an emergency operation after an ectopic pregnancy. It happened while Gaz was in Thailand filming for Ex On The Beach. She claims she was recovering from the op when she heard allegations he'd been unfaithful.
Gaz, however, said he'd been single as neither he nor Charlotte had made their romance official before he left. He penned a column for the Daily Star, saying he felt the pregnancy should have been kept quiet. His column, which also documented their relationship and his thoughts on why it went wrong, sparked a furious reaction from Charlotte on Twitter.
She then announced she'd quit Geordie Shore, tweeting: "Sadly because a certain some1 can't admit to being in the wrong and have to write a short story full of excuses. I have made the the very hard decision to leave the show, it's something I have went back and forth with for a while now. (sic)."
Charlotte has ruled out returning to series 13 to say an on-screen goodbye, telling Heat magazine this week: "I think it would be too hard. I don't think I could physically say goodbye to them. If I go back in the house, then I wouldn't want to leave. It's not that I hate it or that the time has just come. I literally love the show and I love everyone in it and I had the best time of my life. If I was to walk in there now, I wouldn't be able to go. They would have to drag me out."
Series 13 is currently filming in Spain.
