Next week marks the final episode of Big Birthday Battle, and it doesn't start well for Charlotte and Gary. She had previously confessed to kissing Marty and Gary had left the house to get some distance from her.
He is now back, and he's adamant that it is the end for him and Charlotte. But has he completely ruled out a reunion?
This series, fans have watched romance blossom between Charlotte and Gary. For the first time, Gaz revealed he was ready to commit properly to Charlotte and the pair took the next step in their relationship.
They agreed to officially start seeing each other and even ventured out on their first proper date as a couple. Things were going so well, that Gary and Charlotte had even discussed their future outside of the show, with Gaz telling Char he wanted her to be his "girlfriend."
However, their relationship came to an abrupt halt when Charlotte drunkenly kissed Marty.
On finding out about their kiss, Gary tells Charlotte he was "done" with their relationship. He had left the house, but when he comes face-to-face again with Charlotte in next week's episode, he still isn't ready to forgive and forget.
Instead he says: "It's not working. It's not going to work."
Charlotte, meanwhile, doesn't want to take no for an answer and during the gang's house party on their final night, she stands on the kitchen side to deliver an emotional speech in attempt to win Gary back.
She gushes: "I don't know a life in this house without Gary. If I was to ever lose him, I don't think I would be able to ever live in this house anymore. It's only ever been Gary, and it will only ever be Gary."
The following morning as the cast prepare to head back home again, Charlotte quizzes Gary over their relationship. She wants to know if they do have a future still on the outside.
Charlotte says: "After what I did with Marty, that's when I realised that you did care."
Gary tells her: "I do care. It's just knocked us back again."
Charlotte then asks: "But it hasn't knocked us off?" Leading Gary to then say: "It's just knocked us back... ok? I'm still a bit angry."
Well, that's not an outright no, is it? Is there still hope?
Charlotte seems to think so. She tells her on/off flame: "Gary, I think that in five years time we'll laugh so hard about this time and be like, 'Why were we so stupid to be mad at each other for that long?"
